Lauren Gershen is a nationally recognized Specialist in Long Term Care Health Solutions. She is dedicated to helping people plan for the physical, emotional and financial burdens that a long term health crisis can have on family and loved ones.
Lauren shifted gears that involved a career change in 2002, when her sister had a major stroke at age 50. She then began to experience the potentially significant impact that not having a plan can have on you and your loved ones. She brings her unique experience and expertise to benefit each of her clients, first educating them and explaining the options so they can make a well informed decision. Her primary mission is to educate people on the value of having protection against the high costs of extended care while choices are still available.
Lauren is licensed is multiple states. She has earned the advanced designation of Certified Long Term Care (CLTC), as well as her Certification with the National Partnership Program in CA. She is a member of the American Association of Long Term Care and the National Ethics Association.
Lauren Gershen works very closely with other Professionals to establish a plan that takes into consideration their clients individual circumstances and ability to pay. She works with all top insurance companies in the industry that offer both traditional plans and Hybrid (Linked Benefit) products that include both life insurance and annuities with long term care benefits. In addition, she guides her clients in sifting through the maze of selecting the appropriate Medicare Planning Solution.
Since 2011, Lauren has been recommended and endorsed by Dave Ramsey to educate and advise individuals and families about their long term care planning options. If clients are insurable, and the insurance makes sense and fits their budget, both today and in retirement, she then pivots to the appropriate solution.
Lauren Gershen earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in Psychology/Sociology. She volunteers her time with the Alzheimer’s Association and The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
